Certification Lessons

Two of the major responsibilities of ward family history co-chairs are to
(1) train all ward consultants, and
(2) run the weekly Family History Sunday School class.

How do you do this?

Sunday School Lessons

The Stake has developed an excellent set of lessons that can be used to accomplish both of these tasks. Use the Leadership Lesson to train consultants, and use Certification Lessons 1-5 to train consultants and to teach your Sunday School class.

Download the lessons here. Updated 1/17/2016.

Completion Certificate

After the lessons are complete, each class member who has certified receives a certificate of achievement. In order to certify, class members must
(a) index one batch of names, and
(b) print an ordinance request for an ancestor they found.

Co-chairs: Download the certificate here, then change the name and date, and print on the certificate forms that the stake will provide for you.
